Some (if not many) limos have child locks on the rear doors to prevent customers from jumping out inRead More traffic. I wonder if the driver bailed out before remembering to unlock the doors.

Every driver should have the $12 Emergency Hammer (multi-function, seat belt cutter, too) in theirRead More car, especially Limosines or other very closed vehicles. The tool, available at any auto parts store and some big box stores, quickly shatters automobile windows for easy escape in cases where the doors won't open due to crash damage, submerge in water, or, fire, such as this limo tragedy. See: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/life-hammer-escape-tools.html?gclid=CI-K4IL-i7cCFc47OgodIXQAgw I have no affiliation with this company, of course.

"Hillsborough Inspectors are in the process of identifying the owners of this property and areRead More working with our partners in other jurisdictions to determine if additional crimes were committed by Horny." is kind of an odd sentence, as it implies that Hillsborough police are working with Patch's partners in other jurisdictions. If that was the Hillsborough police talking, and not this article's author, the sentence should have been wrapped in quotation marks and identified as a quote from a police press release. But enough of my nitpicking! I gotta say, geeze, this Horny fellow is quite the scumbag, and not too bright. Protip: When committing crimes, don't drive around in a car filled with evidence tying you to previous crimes.

This is incredibly irresponsible journalism without fact checking. (By the Patch and KTVU). PleaseRead More contact Captain Mike Matteucci of the Burlingame Police Dept and post a corrected story with retraction. Incorrectly reporting that bomb making material was found in the home has caused great distress to this family and young boy. The boy is deeply sorry for his actions.

I'm sorry to hear that people were injured in our quiet town. Some clubs require each patron toRead More place their driver's license under a camera as they enter, which reduces problems as it increases accountability of those in the club. This incident was caused by criminal patrons, not by bars.
