Washington Park is home to a variety of community events in Burlingame. It is the oldest park in town and includes tennis courts, baseball fields, a basketball court, a picnic area, a playground and plenty of open green space. It is normally crowded with residents enjoying either organized activities or playing with their children. It is a great place to spend a day at the park or just walk around with a friend. Groups of 15 or more wishing to use the park between 10am and 3pm on weekdays must get permission from the Parks and Recreation Department.
