Enter The Teen Impact Contest

Young people between 14 and 18 can win $1,000 for a cause by explaining how they impact their community.

Do you know a Burlingame teen who has made an impact on the community? Huffington Post is sponsoring a contest for teens between the ages of 14 and 18 who are making a difference. These teens can win $1,000 for a cause they care about.

Teens must compose a blog post plus an optional video or photo and can enter the contest here. Remember to post your entry here on Burlingame Patch, as well, either below or in the Gallery area above.

The 14 finalists will have their blog posts posted on Huff Post High School or Huff Post Impact. Two runners up will each have $500 donated to the charity of their choice. The Grand Prize Winner will have $1,000 to donate plus a trip to New York for a special screening of the film Big Miracle with special host Arianna Huffington.

WOW!! The Huffington Post has invaded the school with it's leftist radical propaganda where everybody's a winner. If I was a parent of any of these " volunteers" , I would fear finding them at one of Obama's occupy rallies hanging with bums, junkies and thugs spreading the disease known only to fools as "equality".
