Mutts Strutt their Stuff in Humane Society Fundraiser

Peninsula Humane Society's 17th annual event raised money and awareness for homeless animals.

A parade of pooches took over Coyote Point Park in San Mateo on Saturday for the Peninsula Humane Society's 17th annual "Mutt Strutt," designed to raise money and awareness for animals at the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA, organization representatives said.

Dog owners and their pooches participated in either a 1-kilometer or 3-kilometer stroll through Coyote Point Park.

Mutts were invited to compete in contests before the walk to earn the title of "Most Talented" or "Best Costume."
