Last Chance: Citizen's Oversight Committee

Join the Citizen's Oversight Committee.

Friday, April 13 is your last chance to apply for the Citizen’s Oversight Committee. Back in May of 2009, Burlingame voters approved the storm drain fee ballot measure, which is used for storm drainage system upgrades, helping stop flooding and protecting public health.

Part of the ballot measure required the formation of a Citizen’s Oversight Committee, which makes sure the storm drain fees are used solely for the storm drain program.

There is currently one vacancy on the committee. The committee has three members, meets twice a year, and each member serves a four-year term.
