STATE PROPOSITION NIGHT FORUM

Join the San Mateo County Democrats, Democracy for America and the Redwood City/Woodside Democratic Club as we discuss the Propositions on this year's ballot.

Directions:  From 92 East: take the Foster City Blvd. exit.  As you come off the exit ramp, turn left, then left again at Foster City Blvd.  After you cross back over 92, take the first right, Chess Drive.

Enjoy some tasty refreshments and learn about the propositions from the following experts:

Susan Frank, Executive Vice President of The Better World Group, will explain to us why the oil industry-funded Dirty Energy Bill, Proposition 23, must be stopped;

We will learn the League of Women Voters' analysis of the redistricting, and hear views of the marijuana, and parks ballot initiatives;

Richard Holober, Executive Director of the Consumer Federation of California and Trustee of the San Mateo County Community College District, will enlighten us about Propositions 24, 25 and 26,

And Dave Pine, Board President of the San Mateo Union High School District, will discuss two controversial county measures.

Once we have a firm grasp of what's at stake in our ballot choices, we will have the opportunity to sign on as volunteers to ensure a big blue turnout in San Mateo County!  Buttons, bumper stickers, lawn signs and t-shirts will be available, too.

Please bring a friend -- and be on time; we always begin with dessert!

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
