It's no secret that California is facing budget woes, and cuts have a real affect at the local level on everything from redevelopment to education.

Now you have a chance to solve the state's $9 billion deficit. An online simulator called the California Budget Challenge lets you decide where to cut, whether to tax and which tough calls you'd make to get the budget under control.
