Vehicle Overturns on 101 in San Francisco

The crash was reported on the southbound 101 -- near Candlestick Point Road -- was reported just before 11 a.m.

A vehicle went off the road and overturned on Highway 101 Thursday but there was no immediate word on injuries.

The crash was reported on the southbound 101 -- near Candlestick Point Road --  just before 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to callers, the vehicle ended up on its roof.

An ambulance was sent to the scene but it was not immediately clear whether anyone was taken to a hospital.

The vehicle was towed to a body shop, the CHP indicated.
