Police Blotter: Vandalism and Suspicious Band Members

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 18

12:10 a.m. A Port-a-Potty was knocked over on the 1500 block of Columbus Avenue. Juveniles in the area denied they had done it, and the structure was placed back in an upright position.

10:09 a.m. A vehicle was keyed on the 600 block of Airport Boulevard earlier in the month.

3:19 p.m. A subject reported being assaulted by an acquaintance the previous night in a bar. An investigation was started.

9:35 p.m. Loud drumming and piano playing was heard on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive.

 Tuesday, June 19

12:20 a.m. There was a report of yelling and slamming sounds in a restaurant on the 1100 block of Broadway. Employees were finishing cleaning up.

4:35 p.m. A subject borrowed a bike from a shop on the 1000 block of California Drive and never returned it.

5:02 p.m. Juveniles were found walking around a construction site on the 1800 block of Trousdale Drive. They said they were working on a class project.

Wednesday, June 20

1:12 p.m. Graffiti was reported on the 1400 block of Broadway. It happened the previous week and the suspects were identified.

4:51 p.m. There was a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 2300 block of Ray Drive. A blue sedan was parking in front of the reporter's neighbor's home and those inside the car entered the home. The subjects were band mates having practice at the home.

9:06 p.m. A subject was throwing rocks at passing cars near Highway 280 at Skyline Boulevard and Trousdale Drive.

Thursday, June 21

7:28 a.m. A large black lab was running loose at Hillside Drive and Skyline Boulevard.

11:28 a.m. A subject was found sleeping on the grass on the 400 block of Bayswater Avenue.

11:30 a.m. A resident reported her neighbor continues hitting golf balls into her yard on the 1500 block of Burlingame Avenue.
