Police Blotter: Person Locked in Apartment and More

Saturday, August 25

12:23 a.m. A mother called the police reporting her son had taken drugs and his heart was racing. The son said that he had smoked synthetic marijuana but was feeling better.

1:06 a.m. Police received a report of a woman screaming on the 500 block of El Camino Real "like a lunatic." She was reportedly upset she had lost her dog and had been drinking.

8:59 a.m. A neighbor on the 2700 block of Trousdale Drive complained of a neighbor working on a shared fence.

10:06 a.m. A resident reported that a doorknob was broken at an apartment on the 1200 block of Broadway. Someone was trapped inside and unable to get out. The building owner could not be contacted, but the fire department was able to get the person out.

Monday, August 27

5:13 a.m. There was a report of a woman sleeping on a bench on the 200 block of El Camino Real.

12:11 p.m. A citizen on the 2800 block of Arguello Drive reported a water leak in front of their property.

2:52 p.m. A burglary was reported on the 1500 block of Cabrillo Avenue.

Tuesday, August 28

8:42 a.m. A child locked himself in a room and then fell asleep on the 100 block of Crescent Avenue.

11:21 a.m. A man set up a car washing service in a Muni lot on the 1400 block of Fox Plaza Lane.

12:30 p.m. Telephone pole wires were knocked down by a garbage truck on the 1300 block of Mills Avenue.

2:58 p.m. Two small dogs were reported running around in traffic at Linden Avenue and Morrell Avenue.
