Police Blotter: Impolite Pizza Guy and More

Saturday, October 13

12:14 a.m. A police officer found an unlocked business door on the 1100 block of Burlingame Avenue.

12:30 a.m. Police tried finding the owner of a vehicle with its lights left on on the 200 block of El Camino Real.

9:24 a.m. A woman on the 800 block of Maple Avenue reported her car had been rifled through and her house and car keys were missing, which might have been left in the car and stolen.

3:04 p.m. A citizen turned a found wallet into the police department.

8:38 p.m. A resident on the 1200 block of Vancouver Avenue said his motion detector light had gone off and a person who seemed agitated was in front of his house. Police could not locate the subject.

9:07 p.m. A woman on the 1900 block of Garden Drive reported a pizza delivery person outside of her house. She had not ordered pizza and was concerned. Police found the pizza delivery person was legitimate, however he was not polite.

Sunday, October 14

7:01 a.m. Political signs were stolen on the 1900 block of Carmelita Avenue.

5:35 p.m. Two men were reportedly being disruptive at an apartment pool on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue.

7:06 p.m. There was a report of a juvenile vomiting upon exiting the canyon on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive with a group. They were on their way home.

Monday, October 15

2:59 p.m. A police officer helped a citizen control dogs on the 2300 block of Hillside Drive.

5:13 p.m. A man entered a store on the 1400 block of Burlingame Avenue and told the merchant he was on parole and a gang member. Police were unable to locate the man.

7:05 p.m. There was a report of a man trying to break into a car on the 1700 block of Marco Polo Way. It turned out the man's friend had locked his keys in the car and the man was trying to help his friend.

10:39 p.m. There was a report of a loud Skype conversation on the 1000 block of El Camino Real. The speakers were ending their call.

Tuesday, October 16

7:49 a.m. A resident on the 1500 block of Barroilhet Avenue reported two cars had been rifled through.

9:04 a.m. Motorcycle helmets were stolen from the 1500 block of Carol Avenue.

3:16 p.m. There was a report of juveniles stealing alcohol on the 1800 block of El Camino Real. The management at the store did not witness the act and said if anything had been taken, it was likely a bottle of iced tea.
