Police Blotter: Diaper Bag Thief and Skateboarders in the Streets

Friday, June 8

2:52 a.m. There were reports of kids kicking garbage cans as they walked along the 1000 block of Morrell Avenue.

6:42 a.m. A car hit a fire hydrant at California Drive and Howard Avenue.

8:24 a.m. A missing juvenile was reported from the 1400 block of El Camino Real, but was found inside the house minutes later.

12:43 p.m. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked car on the 1600 block of McDonald Way.

8:51 p.m. There was a report of juveniles throwing apples at cars on the 1100 block of Bayswater Avenue.

Saturday, June 9

1:50 a.m. A subject was causing a disturbance in a drug store on the 200 block of El Camino Real. The subject got on a bus to go home to Santa Clara.

7:12 a.m. A man was found sleeping on a lawn on the 800 block of Linden Avenue. He was intoxicated and his family was contacted to pick him up.

7:50 a.m. Two caps from fence posts were removed on the 800 block of Fairfield Road.

Sunday, June 10

1:10 a.m. Juveniles were skateboarding in the street on the 700 block of California Drive. They were advised to not do so again.

1:38 a.m. A loud party was reported on the 700 block of El Camino Real. Officers found the source of noise, which turned out to not be a party, but a few girls being loud in an apartment. They were told to keep it down.

9:38 a.m. A diaper bag was stolen from a car overnight on the 1500 block of Carol Avenue when a window was smashed to gain access.

10:34 p.m. Juveniles were reported ringing doorbells and running away on the 0 block of Loma Vista Avenue. A group of kids was located, but denied involvement.
