Police Blotter: Children Sneak Into School and Disappearing Nanny

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, June 22

8:27 a.m. Garage lockers on the 1500 block of Willow Avenue were broken into.

9:11 a.m. A resident reported a neighbor's garage door on the 3000 block of Rivera Drive has been open for two days. The house was checked and all was clear.

4:38 p.m. A teacher found five juveniles in a classroom on the 800 block of Howard Avenue. They ran away when they saw the teacher.

7:36 p.m. There was a report of ducklings in the road at Bayswater Avenue and California Drive.

Saturday, June 23

1:51 a.m. A fight involving 15 subjects on the 1000 block of Burlingame Avenue was reported. One subject had a laceration and was hit in the eye. Suspects were seen fleeing on foot.

9:30 a.m. A car was found in a parking lot on the 100 block of Anza Boulevard with bullet holes. The owner was found but wasn't sure what happened to the car.

4:00 p.m. A woman left her 1-year-old in the car with her nanny. When she returned 15 minutes later, the nanny was gone. The nanny was located and said she was leaving the family and returning home outside of the country.

Sunday, June 24

12:32 a.m. A subject was causing a disturbance on the 200 block of Lorton Avenue. He was outside a bar and took his shirt off. Police sent him home.

4:09 a.m. Traffic cones were left behind at California Drive and Summer Avenue. They were moved.

5:40 a.m. A parking meter was found on the ground in a parking lot on the 1400 block of Fox Plaza Lane. It was taken for safekeeping.
