Police Blotter: Neighbor Suspected of Gluing Door Shut

Friday, September 7
3:55 a.m. A street light was flickering at Laurel Avenue and Park Avenue.
8:35 a.m. Vandalism occurred in a city parking lot on the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue.

11:13 a.m. A dead raccoon was reported on the 100 block of Lorton Avenue.
2:11 p.m. A homeowner left a pot on the stove on the 3000 block of Hillside Drive. Police were notified by a passerby-er who heard an alarm and smelled smoke.

Saturday, September 8
2:01 a.m. There was a report from a man who said he left a keyboard on the sidewalk on the 1000 block of Park Avenue and drove away. When he returned, the keyboard was gone.
10:32 a.m. Two men and a woman who claimed to be with a religious organization were looking in a woman's window on the 100 block of Elm Avenue and took a picture of her car.
12:55 p.m. A noise complaint from two neighbors in an apartment building on the 1100 block of Carmelita Avenue was mediated by police. One neighbor had been pounding on the walls.
Sunday, September 9
9:20 a.m. Registration tabs were taken from a car on the 1200 block of Carmelita Avenue.
12:02 p.m. A resident at an apartment on the 500 block of El Camino Real said that someone had glued her door shut and she suspected one of her neighbors.
5:28 p.m. Burlingame police helped the fire department with an oven fire on the 1500 block of La Mesa Drive.
