Local Traffic Alert Set for Burlingame Friday Night
Traffic in the area will be impacted from about 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM due to the annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Parade.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, the City of Burlingame and the Downtown Burlingame Business Improvement District will be hosting the annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Parade. The tree lighting will take place in the City Hall Plaza area, followed by a parade on Howard Ave.
Residents and guests are encouraged to attend. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM. A parade down Howard Avenue, followed by entertainment and activities, are scheduled immediately following the tree lighting.
Visitors to the event are encouraged to use public transportation. For those who drive to the event, you are encouraged to park in the city parking lots around the area.
Please keep in mind traffic in the area will be impacted from about 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. If you are attending the event, we encourage you to arrive early. For those needing to pass through,. or access the area, please be patient of traffic delays, and consider alternate routes.
