Hillsborough Police Investigate Residential Burglary


The Hillsborough Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that happened on Tuesday.

The burglary occurred in the 300 block of Alberta Way between 10:35 a.m. and 12:35 p.m., according to the Police Department.

The suspect entered by breaking a rear glass door with an unknown object. Once inside the home, the suspect stole valuables and items from the master bedroom and office upstairs and then fled through the front door, according to police.

The Hillsborough Police Department is seeking any potential witnesses in this case. If you were in this area and saw any suspicious vehicles or persons, please contact us at 650-375-7470.

Additionally, we are asking residents in the area who may have surveillance footage of Alberta Way or Hayne Road to please review their video and share it with us so that we can investigate any potential leads in this case.
