Hillsborough Police Gain Top 10 Twitter Following

Hillsborough is the only city in California to make the Top 10 for the size of their department.

Tech-savvy Hillsborough residents love following the police department on Twitter. In fact, the department ranks in the Top 10 for twitter followers for departments of their size in the entire nation with more than 2,700 followers.

Police tweet information about crimes, announce upcoming events and offer tips on @HillsboroughPD.

Here’s a complete listing of the Top 10 departments for twitter followers:
