Update: Head-On Crash Blocks Lanes of Hwy 92

A head-on crash is blocking state Highway 92 in both directions near Skylawn Memorial Park Tuesday morning, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The crash, which involved three vehicles, was reported west of Skyline Boulevard at about 11:05 a.m., CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

Minor injuries have been reported. An ambulance is enroute.

Delays of 20 minutes on the road can be expected.

Vehicles heading westbound on Highway 92 are being turned around at the Lower Lakes intersection.

There was no immediate estimate for when Highway 92 would reopen, and motorists were being advised to use alternate routes.

A Sig-alert was issued at 11:22 a.m.
