East Palo Alto Shooting Leaves Teen Dead
Police are investigating the incident, but no suspects have yet been identified.

A 19-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after he was shot while in a vehicle in East Palo Alto late Tuesday, Aug. 20, police said.
At about 10:10 p.m., officers were alerted to shots fired in the 2500 block of Emmett Way, about a block from University Avenue. Arriving officers found a 19-year-old man slumped over in the driver seat of a parked vehicle. He had at least one gunshot wound, police said.

The Menlo Park Fire District arrived on scene and rendered aid to the man. He was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
The victim's name has not been released pending notification of his relatives.
