Burlingame Police Help Free Elderly Man Tangled in Seatbelt

Burlingame Police Department's blotter from Thursday, Jan. 31.

At about 10 a.m. Thursday, an elderly man with Parkinson’s Disease became tangled in his car’s faulty seatbelt on Clarice Lane and Marco Way, according to Burlingame Police. 

His wife immediately called the Burlingame Fire Department who – with the assistance of Burlingame Police – untangled him by 10:21 a.m., according to Administrative Sergeant Dan Shepley.

7:38 p.m. A woman was arrested for domestic battery of her live-in boyfriend over an argument about a cup.

12:29 p.m. A two-year old wandered away from parents but was located in a nearby shop, unharmed, at 1200 Burlingame Ave.

11:59 a.m. A gun and jewelry was stolen from 2900 Arguello Drive.

8:35 a.m. A Ford Mustang was reported stolen at 1100 Peninsula Ave.

1:31 a.m. Police received a report of a missing tourist, and located him on 700 Airport Blvd.
