Burlingame Police Blotter: Stolen Car and More

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, November 28

2:43 a.m. There was a report of a man talking loudly outside his apartment on a cell phone on the 700 block of Rollins Road. He went inside.

4:21 a.m. A man reported that his wife had heard someone inside their home on the 1500 block of Meadow Lane, but officers found no one in the home or yard.

7:14 a.m. A resident's car was stolen on the 1600 block of Westmoor Road.

8:29 a.m. Police got a complaint about a man feeding seagulls on the 200 block of Park Road.

10:48 a.m. Police received a report of a strange person near the 1100 block of Eastmoor Road entering an alley with two backpacks. Police could not locate the person.

4:16 p.m. There was a report of smoke at California Drive and Majilla Avenue. It was coming from a car at a repair shop.

8:26 p.m. There was a report of bonfires on the waterfront near the 300 block of Airport Boulevard. One fire was found lit for warmth.

Thursday, November 29

4:20 a.m. A police officer stopped a cyclist for running a stop sign on the 500 block of El Camino Real.

9:20 a.m. A car was towed from the 200 block of El Camino Real for having excessive parking tickets.

12:09 p.m. Police received a report of a confused looking person walking into the canyon at Adeline Drive and Hillside Drive. Police could not find the man.

1:04 p.m. A package was stolen from a resident's front porch on the 1100 block of Dufferin Avenue.

2:36 p.m. A water heater flooded on the 500 block of Almer Road.

9:02 p.m. A tree fell on a car on the 1400 block of Burlingame Avenue.
