Burlingame Police Blotter: Resident Stops Vehicle Theft

Saturday, September 29

12:13 a.m. A reckless big rig driver was warned at Airport Boulevard and Beach Road.

12:23 a.m. A citizen on the 1900 block of Garden Drive reported a burglary of her apartment.

1:45 p.m. A merchant on the 200 block of Primrose Road reported juveniles repeatedly play a prank in which they request a business card and then tear it up and throw it down in the store. She was encouraged to call if they return.

1:53 p.m. A resident on the 200 block of Bancroft Road reported that his garden was being trampled by construction workers working on his neighbor's home. Both parties agreed to sort out the property line dispute.

Sunday, September 30

1:25 a.m. There was a report of a loud party at a restaurant on the 1000 block of Rollins Road.

2:22 a.m. There was a report of a man sleeping in a gutter on the 0 block of Highlands Avenue. He was sent home.

6:22 p.m. There was a report of a subject pouring paint into the gutter on the 1500 block of California Drive. The officer could find no evidence of paint in the gutter.

Monday, October 1

2:25 a.m. A resident on the 2000 block of Devereaux Drive stopped a theft from his car. A few personal items were taken and a report was filed.

7:34 a.m. A subject reported road rage at David Road and Rollins Road.

7:38 a.m. Two men argued in a store on the 1400 block of Howard Avenue over use of the bathroom.

10:40 a.m. A resident on the 800 block of El Camino Real reported pry marks on his neighbor's apartment.

Tuesday, October 2

6:47 a.m. A citizen on the 1100 block of Chula Vista Avenue reported a stolen van for the second time.

8:06 a.m. A fallen tree blocked two lanes of traffic on the 500 block of Airport Boulevard.

4:21 p.m. A resident on the 500 block of Francisco Drive reported that someone continues parking in front of his home, and he considers it intimidation.

10:57 p.m. A vehicle owner found that her battery had been removed and placed in her backseat.
