Burlingame Police Blotter: Possible Bomb Reported

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, October 17

1:03 a.m. A delivery person found a business's door was open on the 200 block of California Drive. The interior appeared find.

1:36 a.m. A police officer approached a car on the 1800 block of Bayshore Highway. The people in the car said they were just watching airplanes.

8:41 a.m. A rental car that had been reported as stolen was returned on the 1400 block of Rollins Road.

8:41 a.m. A report of identity theft was filed.

9:34 a.m. There was a report of many items being stolen over a few months on the 1700 block of El Camino Real.

10:36 a.m. Student on the 1700 block of Quesada Way signed a statement saying they had stolen bikes.

12:01 p.m. A coat was reported stolen on the 0 block of California Drive.

4:49 p.m. A man reported an argument between him and another man who cut him off on the 1200 block of Broadway.

7:03 p.m. A man reported his fence was vandalized on the 400 block of California Drive.

8:56 p.m. A resident on the 2500 block of Poppy Drive reported hearing her neighbor possibly screaming. It turned out the neighbor had been sneezing.

9:34 p.m. A man reported a bomb in the area on the 400 block of Airport Boulevard. There was no merit to the threat.

Yes, we are well aware of this & can not believe the Burlingame district is proceeding with theRead More plans for this school. The footprint of the school does not allow for safe drop off and pick up. I have seen a couple of different plans for the drop off line & none of them are adequate for the location. The traffic will surely be a nightmare & I hope we are not moved to this school, as there is not proper access for drop off. Also, not sure why the plans keep changing, maybe because they can not come up with a good plan.
