Wednesday, April 17

12:03 a.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested at California Drive and North Lane for being drunk and disorderly.

1:01 a.m. A man reported a woman was knocking on his front door on Lorton Avenue and she had a dog with her which was barking. The woman and her dog were sent on their way.

6:16 a.m. A transient entered a coffee shop on El Camino Real and took a nap. Employees asked the man to leave, but he refused. Police were called and advised the suspect to leave the shop.

9:20 a.m. A resident reported her license plates were stolen when her car was parked on Douglas Avenue.

3:51 p.m. Police received a report of two suspects applying graffiti to a building at 1100 Broadway. Police advised the suspects to leave and that they could be arrested for trespassing if they returned. The business owner wanted no action taken.

10:50 p.m. Police contacted four men in a car that had stolen registration tags. The men denied any knowledge of the matter.

Tuesday, April 16

7:51 a.m. An iPad was reported stolen from an unlocked car parked on Drake Avenue.

9:10 a.m. Police were advised that a student had posted inappropriate comments on Facebook and investigated.

10:01 a.m. An employee at a thrift store on Adrian Road had handcuffs on, but couldn't get them off. Firefighters were called to cut off the handcuffs.

2:38 p.m. Police spotted a car with an open trunk on Anza Boulevard. The owner reported nothing missing.

3:02 p.m. A woman reported a suspicious man behind a building on Rollins Road. When she passed by, he reportedly grabbed her arm and told her to leave. Police contacted the man, who was collecting recyclables and felt she was competing with him. He denied touching the woman.

5:31 p.m. Police issued citations to a group of people at a park on California Drive for drinking alcohol in a public place.

6:53 p.m. An officer conducting a search of a vehicle along the bayfront on Airport Boulevard discovered a gun and a small amount of marijuana. The gun was legally stored in the vehicle. The marijuana was seized and destroyed.

9:04 p.m. Four vehicles on California Drive and Burlingame Avenue were broken into. Several computers and some luggage were reported stolen.

11:31 p.m. An 18-year-old girl was arrested on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol and providing false identification to a police officer.

Monday, April 15

12:41 a.m. A man reported a person who appeared to be a transient entering a neighbor's yard. Police searched the yard, but were unable to locate the suspect.

11:18 a.m. A resident of Cabrillo Avenue was arrested for domestic battery.

12:35 p.m. A pedestrian was killed on the train tracks at California Drive.

2:41 p.m. An oil drum was dumped near a hotel at 600 Airport Boulevard.

2:49 p.m. Police were called when a man who had used the restroom at a restaurant on 1200 Donnelly Ave. refused to leave.

5:41 p.m. A woman was picking up her stepson at Bayshore Highway when the boy's mother reportedly scratched and hit her.

6:35 p.m. Police received reports of a woman at Chapin Avenue making threats to kill everyone like in Boston. The woman, who is known to Burlingame Police, was evaluated for psychiatric and drug issues, denied making any threats. She was sent on her way.

7:10 p.m. A briefcase and a laptop computer were stolen from a vehicle on Bayshore Highway.

Sunday, April 14

6:26 p.m. A fallen tree was blocking California Drive and had damaged a vehicle. The street was closed while the branch was removed.

9:21 p.m. Officers contacted a juvenile on Primrose Road. The girl had been reported missing and was returned to a guardian.

11:59 p.m. Police called the coroner's office to respond to 1100 Cambridge Road, where a woman had passed away.

Saturday, April 13

7:18 a.m. A resident reported a theft from a vehicle.

7:24 a.m. A citizen reported her wallet had been stolen and her credit cards had been used in another city.

2:39 p.m. A man reported his watch had been stolen from his hotel room at 1200 Bayshore Highway.

3:31 p.m. A woman from a care facility entered the Burlingame Police Department lobby and made suicidal statements. She was held for psychiatric evaluation.

4:43 p.m. Eldridge Cotton, 65, was arrested for throwing objects at people. He had an outstanding arrest warrant.

10:39 p.m. Police received a complaint of a man at 1200 Burlingame Ave. playing his harmonica too loudly. He was advised of the complaint and stopped playing.

11:47 p.m. Police received a report of two intoxicated men in a physical fight at 1100 Capuchino Ave. They were sent on their way.

Friday, April 12

1:05 p.m. A man reported a worker stole $4,000 from his car parked at 1000 Carolan Avenue.

6:24 p.m. A car at 800 Rollins Road was reportedly broken into and items were stolen.

11:52 p.m. A 22-yeaer-old man was arrested for driving under the influence.

Thursday, April 11

12:42 a.m. Caroline Meneatis, 51, was arrested on Airport Boulevard for being in possession of drugs and Alkus Dexter, 26, was arrested for being under the influence of drugs.

2:26 a.m. A suspect was reportedly pounding on the door of a home at 800 Cowan Road and possible kicking the car door. Police found no damage to the car door.

8:59 a.m. A woman found someone had written "Visitor Parking" using deoderant on the windshield of her car parked at an apartment complex on 500 El Camino Real, where she is a resident.

9:23 a.m. A business at 1800 El Camino Real reported electronics and cash had been stolen during a burglary.

9:33 a.m. A man reported the registration tag had been stolen from his license plates on his car on Cumberland Road.

2:04 p.m. A resident reported his car had been broken into while parked at 1500 Bernal Ave.

3:03 p.m. A resident reported two men crawled into a garage at 900 Howard Ave. It turns out the men were known to the homeowner and everything was fine.

4:21 p.m. Police received a report of an auto burglary on Bayshore Highway.

Wednesday, April 10

8:05 a.m. A resident reported his car had been broken into and ransacked, but nothing was taken, while parked on Cortez Avenue.

10:22 a.m. A 3-year-old was reported missing from a residence on Alpine Avenue, but was found by neighbors.

10:29 a.m. A gardening truck was reported stolen. The driver left the keys in the ignition.

1:41 p.m. A resident reported a man appeared to be looking into the windows of homes on Atwater Driver and Rivera Drive. It was determined he was distributing advertisements in violation of a local ordinance.

2:32 p.m. A student, while off school grounds, reported a man on Howard Avenue made inappropriate sexual comments toward her.
