Burlingame Police Blotter: Dumpster Fire and More

Wednesday, September 26

12:35 a.m. A resident on the 200 block of Bancroft Road reported a car with occupants parked across her home for 20 minutes. The occupants were contacted and found to be visiting the resident's neighbor.

8:43 a.m. A resident on the 900 block of Linden Avenue reported that her son was drunk the night before and tearing up the house.

9:44 a.m. There was a report of loose dogs charging at other dogs at Carlos Avenue and Hillside Drive.

9:54 a.m. A shoplifter was detained on the 1800 block of El Camino Real. The items had been dumped previous to the suspect leaving and no items were actually stolen.

11:07 a.m. A gas line on the 1600 block of Easton Drive was ruptured during construction.

1:49 p.m. A dumpster was reportedly on fire on the 1800 block of Bayshore Highway.

3:45 p.m. A tarp was reported on the train tracks at California Drive and Peninsula Avenue. It was returned to its construction site.

9:23 p.m. There was a report of a man crouching at Corbitt Drive and Winchester Drive.

10:02 p.m. A woman on the 1100 block of Drake Avenue reported that someone was ringing her doorbell but she did not want to answer her door.

11:40 p.m. A dead raccoon was reported at California Drive and Rhinette Avenue.
