Burlingame Police Blotter: Coffee Thrown on Political Sign

Sunday, October 28

1:59 a.m. There was a report of a fight between subjects outside a bar on the 200 block of Park Road at closing time. There were no injuries.

2:37 a.m. A routine traffic stop at Carmelita and Chula Vista Avenue resulted in the arrest of a female juvenile for driving under the influence.

11:30 a.m. A resident on the 2000 block of Hillside Drive found shoes and a pile of wood in her yard and bushes. She thought it was left there overnight.

12:17 p.m. There was a report of potential shoplifters on the 1200 block of Burlingame Avenue.

Monday, October 29

8:21 a.m. A resident's scarecrow was vandalized on the 1200 block of Drake Avenue.

8:30 a.m. A big rig knocked over a lamppost at Bayshore Highway and Malcolm Rd.

11:03 a.m. A woman reported seeing another woman throwing coffee on a political sign on the 200 block of Park Road.

3:23 p.m. The woman on the 200 block of Park Road who had coffee thrown on her political sign reported another person flipping over her table.

4:01 p.m. A boy on the 700 block of Howard Avenue reported someone was in his house. It turned out to be his uncle who had come in the back door and didn't know the boy was home.

Tuesday, October 30

9:32 a.m. An auto rental agency on the 1200 block of Bayshore Highway reported a car had not been returned at the end of its contract.

11:38 a.m. A citizen on the 1600 block of Adrian Road reported a forklift damaged his delivery truck and the damaging party would not speak with him.

2:10 p.m. A student brought a BB gun to school on the 1700 block of Quesada Way.

Wednesday, October 31

12:19 a.m. A resident on the 1400 block of Floribunda Avenue reported a neighbor making a lot of noise. It turned out the neighbors were making ice cream and agreed to keep the noise down.

9:22 a.m. A car, which had been reported as stolen, was found on the 1000 block of Rollins Road and towed.

1:58 p.m. A citizen's car was egged on the 1100 block of Bernal Avenue.
