Burlingame PD Needs Help Solving Fatal Accident

If you witnessed the crash, call the police department.

Police are seeking as much information as possible on a at 12:13 p.m. at El Camino Real and Bellevue Avenue in Burlingame.

San Mateo County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Mertl was killed in the crash after the motorcycle he was riding while off duty collided with a car. 

If you witnessed the accident or have any information on it, contact Sgt. Ford at 650-777-4100.
