USA Today: San Carlos Santa Sighting Among Country's 10 Best

Where will your family go to see Kris Kringle? The jolly man arrives at the Hiller Museum Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

With Black Friday behind us, and leftovers sitting in the refrigerator, it's time to consider another holiday tradition that comes 'round every season.

The arrival of Santa.

USA Today combed the United States for great Santa sightings, and listed first of the ten they found is the annual Santa helicopter drop in at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. The whirlybird with special cargo arrives Saturday, November 30 at 10 a.m.

Jack Sanderson, a professional Santa himself, told the newspaper:

"Always versatile, Santa uses a chopper when his sleigh is in the shop. After his noisy arrival at this Bay Area museum, he poses for photos and drops by a holiday party with caroling. A really great arrival is awesome, and it doesn't impede a visit with Santa."

Other locations to see Santa include The Luxor in Las VegasOutrigger Waikiki on the Beach in Hawaii, and Seaport Village in San Diego, where "Surfin' Santa ditches his red suit and boots for board shorts and flip-flops to meet with children."
