PHS Pet Photos: Because Santa's Love Knows No Bounds

Santa has a spot on his lap (or in his beard) for pets this holiday season--he'll ho-ho-ho for cats, dogs, even lizards at the Peninsula Humane Society's new adoption center in Burlingame.

Santa Claus is visiting the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA’s) new adoption center on three dates in December, giving local residents an opportunity to have their pets pose for a holiday keepsake photo.

Santa makes his first stop this Wednesday, 12/4, from 3-7 pm. Additional dates and times are Saturday, 12/7 and Saturday, 12/14, from 12-4 pm both days

Santa will be situated just inside PHS/SPCA’s Center for Compassion main entrance at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame. Parking is available on Rollins Road or in PHS/SPCA’s parking lot on Edwards Court.

Visitors must bring their own camera and will be responsible for taking their pet’s photo. If they want to join their pet on Santa’s lap, our volunteers can assist.

The low $10 flat fee per “sitting” will benefit PHS/SPCA homeless animals.  All pets are welcome. In years past, Santa has posed with cats, goats, even a snake. Multiple pets may pose in one photo as long as their owner can control them.

Dogs must arrive and remain on leash. Owners should bring cats in carriers.

No reservations required.  For questions, please call 650/685-8510.
