Peninsula Stroke Association Burlingame Office Now Open

The PSA held an open house at its new office Wednesday.

The Peninsula Stroke Association held an at its newest office in Burlingame.

Residents, PSA officials and even Burlingame Mayor Jerry Deal attended the event.

The PSA focuses on providing post-stroke support and stroke prevention education, and will continue to do so out of the Burlingame office.

A new support group at the Burlingame location begins September 25 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Nancy Houston-Miller, RN, a member of the Board of Directors at Peninsula Stroke Association, spoke about stroke prevention, while Rich Kimbrel, RN, EMT-P, Clinical Manager at American Medical Responses in San Mateo County, touched upon emergency response for stroke victims at the open house.
