Donations Sought for Troops' Holiday Care Packages

San Mateo is sending care packages to their adopted unit, U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division, currently deployed in Afghanistan. Postage is needed the most.

It's that time of year again -- the time for giving and being with loved ones.

For San Mateo's adopted unit, U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division, who are currently deployed in Afghanistan, you can make their holidays a bit sweeter by donating to care packages.

The United States will still have thousands of soldiers deployed around the world and many will not be home for the holidays.

These Bay Area citizens will be bringing a little holiday cheer and a personal thank you their adopted unit.

One of the largest expenses will be the actual postage for the care packages and donations are gratefully appreciated.
