"Bag It' the Movie

"Bag It" has won awards at film festivals across the nation. It started as a documentary about plastic bags and evolved into an investigation into plastics and their effect on our waterways, the ocean and the human body.

After the movie, Dean Peterson, Director of Environmental Health for San Mateo County, will lead a discussion about the county’s single-use bag ordinance that will take effect Earth Day 2013 (4/22/13).

There is a rumor that the bag monster may make an appearance.
