“We
love coming to the festival every year,” says Gregory Shneyer . “it is one of the

that
even the tiniest spark of light can outshine tremendous darkness. This was true
for the Maccabees of old, and it is true for us today, on both an individual
and communal level.”

Each
year, the Burlingame Chanukah festival features Chanukah favorites like jelly
donuts and potato latkas among other refreshments. There’s live music with Jonathan
Bayer
to get the crowd on their feet, and a renowned juggler Daniel Davinci to keep
the kids entertained.

“Our
goal is to make it fun and exciting for the entire family,” says Rabbi Moshe
Weinbaum, Chabad’s program director. “Whether you are a toddler, teen or
senior, everyone enjoys the Burlingame Chanukah party. IT’s a blast.”
