Burlingame Green Street Fair

Burlingame Green Street Fair Larger Than Ever

With more than 60 vendors, the sixth annual Burlingame Green Street Fair promises to be the biggest one yet. It will be held on Sunday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot next to downtown Post Office, adjacent to the popular Burlingame Fresh Market on Park Road at Burlingame Avenue. Admission is free. Last year’s fair attracted more than 4,500 visitors.

In addition to showcasing green businesses and sustainable lifestyle choices, the fair will offer entertainment, demonstrations, complimentary samples and free hands-on art projects and activities for families. The first 500 visitors will receive a free gift and those who get a passport stamped will qualify for hourly drawings for valuable prizes. The Burlingame Library Foundation encourages donations of used books, CDs and DVDs to support the library.

The Green Street Fair is presented by the nonprofit Citizens Environmental Council - Burlingame. All proceeds benefit local efforts to educate and lead the community in sustainability matters.
