Week Ahead: School Budget and Holiday Performances

Take a look ahead at what's going on in Burlingame this week.

What's on tap for this week? Keep an eye out for these events and stories this week. We'll be there to cover them.

  • All this week, Recology is collecting new and gently used coats. They will be collected by drivers curbside from homes on their normal waste collection day.
  • The Planning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m. Members will review a draft wireless telecommunications ordinance.
  • The Burlingame Elementary School District Board of Trustees meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. Members will take action on whether or not to keep early bird/late bird for first and second grade students. They will also receive the first interim budget report for the year.
  • On Wednesday, there will be a family sing-a-long around the fireplace at the Easton Branch library, beginning at 7 p.m.
  • The Parks and Recreation Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday is cancelled.
  • Burlingame Intermediate School presents It’s A Wonderful Life Friday at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Burlingame Public Library is hosting a holiday puppet show at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are required, and can be picked up for free beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
  • Musicians from the San Francisco Symphony will perform a holiday concert at Kohl Mansion Sunday at 7 p.m.
