Week Ahead: National Night Out and More

  • Patti Ringo from Extenet will meet with concerned residents regarding Extenet's proposed cell phone antenna project in Burlingame Monday evening at 2536 Valdivia.
  • The Sawyer Camp Trail is closed Monday from the five-mile marker to the Hillcrest gate while the trail is paved.
  • An open house concerning PG&E's hydrostatic pressure testing to be conducted in Burlingame will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Crystal Springs Golf Course Club House.
  • Burlingame will encourage crime prevention during National Night Out Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  
  • Burlingame will host a in Washington Park Saturday through Sunday. To get involved, email sarah.jackson@cancer.org.
  • The Burlingame Aquatic Center is hosting Family Fun Day Sunday. The event is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for kids and free for those 2 and younger.
  • Sunday brings the Flower Garden Show in an English village setting on Willborough Road. You can enjoy a self-guided tour between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. or an instructional tour between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Homeless Cat Network.
