Week Ahead: Memorial Day Parade and Burlingame Idol Final Competition

• Monday is Memorial Day. Reference our to see what's closed around town in honor of the holiday.
• The Hillsborough Memorial Day Parade takes place Monday  at 10:30 a.m.
• The Burlingame Art Society meets Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Lions Club. Watercolorist and collage artist Kay Duffy is the guest artist for the meeting.
• The Beautification Commission meets on Thursday at 6 p.m. in City Hall's Conference Room A.
• The Peninsula Cities Consortium meets on Friday at 8:15 a.m. on Friday in the Menlo Park Council Chambers.
• There will be a discussion on the Off Leash Dog survey results in the Burlingame Recreation Center at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
• The Burlingame Idol final competition is Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at Rocca Restaurant. Three finalists each from four categories will compete.
