Week Ahead: Get Ready For Your Fall Garden

What's on tap for this week? Keep an eye out for these events and stories this week. We'll be there to cover them.

  • Looking for some computer guidance? Stop by the Burlingame Public Library for Drop-In Computer Lab at 3 p.m. Monday
  • The City Council meets Monday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers. They will hear a presentation from SBWMA and Recology and discuss the Burlingame Climate Action Plan implementation.
  • The Library Trustees meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Burlingame Public Library.
  • Family Fun Nights at the Burlingame Public Library continue Tuesday at 7 p.m. Images in Motion puppets will perform. The event is free, but tickets are required and should be picked up from the Children’s Desk at the library.
  • Want to learn to eat healthy with ease? A healthy cooking demo and lunch will be held Wednesday at the Burlingame Recreation Center.
  • Learn how to grow a delicious fall garden with local horticulturist Dennis Granahan on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Burlingame Public Library Lane Community Room.
  • The Parks and Recreation Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled.
  • Music the Park continues this week on Sunday with Sol Latin Music at 1 p.m. in Washington Park.
