Week Ahead: Downtown Sidewalk Sale and Recycling Event

What's on tap for this week? Keep an eye out for these events and stories this week. We'll be there to cover them.

• The Burlingame Public Library is holding a drop-in computer lab from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Monday.
  
• The Planning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
• The Burlingame Elementary School District Board of Trustees meets Tuesday. The board will hold a joint meeting with the Burlingame Community for Education Foundation.
• On Thursday, mock employment interviews will be held at the Burlingame Public Library at 10 a.m.
• On Friday and Saturday, the Downtown Burlingame Business Improvement District is sponsoring its Downtown Sidewalk Sale. Get great deals at shops throughout downtown.
• On Saturday the Green Team is holding a recycling event at St. Paul’s Church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many articles will be accepted, and the team will use any raised funds for the school’s composting program.
• For any homeowner who wants to begin owner or builder responsibilities on their residence in Burlingame, there will be a workshopSaturday at 10 a.m. in the Lane Community Room.
