Week Ahead: Computer Classes and City Budget

Learn about computers, CPR, the City budget and an office and life science campus planned for Airport Boulevard this week.

What's on tap for this week? Keep an eye out for these events and stories this week. We'll be there to cover them.

  • Looking to brush up on your computer skills? Attend the Drop-In Computer Lab Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Burlingame Public Library. 
  • The Planning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m. Members will discuss an application for development of a office and life science campus at 300 Airport Boulevard.
  • The Central County Fire Department will host a CPR class Tuesday at Fire Station 34 at 9 a.m. The class if $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents.
  • The Library Trustees meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Burlingame Public Library.
  • On Wednesday at 1 p.m., the Burlingame Public Library is holding a Hands-On Computer Instruction class. Email mcculley@plsinfo.org to register.
  • The City Council will hold its budget session Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Lane Community Room.
  • On Saturday, is holding its annual WamJam fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event includes games, arts and crafts, live music, food, a silent auction and more. Proceeds benefit science and art education.
