Week Ahead: 10 Things to Know

  • The Hillsborough City Council meets Monday at 6 p.m. in Town Hall. 
  • The Burlingame Planning Commission meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
  • The Burlingame School District Board of Trustees meets Tuesday  at 7 p.m. in the district office.
  • The Burlingame Public Library will hold a viewing of the Vice Presidential Debate Thursday at 6 p.m.
  • The Traffic Safety & Parking Commission meets Thursday at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
  • There will be a CPR class Friday at Fire Station 36. The cost is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Registration is required. Click here for more information.
  • The Burlingame Lions Club is hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser Friday at 6 p.m. in Lions Hall. The even is $25 for adults, $10 for children under 10 and $30 at the door.
  • Emergency preparedness drills are scheduled to take place throughout Burlingame Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Click here for more information.
  • Burlingame is giving away compost Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Burlingame High School parking lot.
  • The Roosevelt Elementary School Chili Cook-off takes place Sunday from 11 a.m. until l4 p.m. The fundraiser includes music, games and chili.
