Burlingame-based Virgin America is launching a “long-distance love” competition to score a Los Vegas stay – or wedding.
By Feb. 19, Virgin America flyers can share how the airline has helped keep their love alive, putting their stories on Instagram, Twitter and/or Vine, using the #VXLongDistanceLove hashtag, said spokeswoman Patricia Condon.
The winners can stay at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (round trip airfare included) and and receive an opportunity to take their love to the next level at their Pop-Up Wedding Chapel.

The airline is also partaking in VDay by allowing passengers to send e-love letters from high in the air. They can also use seat-to-seat chat to strike up a conversation with the person who caught their eye in 21C.
