Sawyer Camp Trail Slated for Two-Day Closure
The trail will be closed to prepare for the rainy season.
The entire Sawyer Camp Trail will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday so work crews can prepare for the rainy season.
Additionally, 100 trucks will deliver materials for contruction of a new access road parallel to the pipeline that will enable repairs without driving on the Sawyer Camp Trail.
The work is part of the to the Hetch Hetchy Regional Water System.
The trail will reopen at sunrise on Friday.
