If Burlingame citizens want to set off fireworks this Fourth of July, they'll have to head to Pacifica or San Bruno, the only two cities in San Mateo County that allow fireworks outside of professional shows.
Fireworks are dangerous--even fatal--if used incorrectly, but people all across the country set off their own fireworks on July Fourth, legal or not.
