Did you know that Ano Nuevo used to have buildings on it?
The San Mateo County Historical Museum recently purchased more than 30,000 San Mateo Times newspaper photos that span most of the 20th century and provide a glimpse into San Mateo County life and its generations.
This photo from the collection is dated April 11, 1970.
The San Mateo County Historical Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
