UPDATE: Overturned Big-Rig Removed From Highway 92

CHP was directing one-way traffic after a big-rig accident earlier this morning.

The California Highway Patrol has reopened state Highway 92 in unincorporated San Mateo County after an overturned big-rig blocked traffic east of Half Moon Bay for nearly four hours.

The big-rig, which was carrying a load of soil or gravel, overturned on its side on Highway 92 just west of Skyline Boulevard at about 8:15 a.m., CHP Sgt. John Carman said.

The driver was injured in the crash, and the truck's load spilled into the westbound lanes, Carman said.
