Get back to Nature this Saturday – without leaving Burlingame – and help your neighbors preserve our greatest outdoor treasure. The Mills Canyon Nature Preserve needs volunteers to walk the trail, look for potential tripping hazards (roots and rocks) and remove them.

Everyone interested should meet at 10 a.m. at the entrance across from 3000 Arguello Drive. Bring a hat, gloves, and a pointed shovel. New acquaintances (and free doughnuts!) are yours for helping out during these two hours of fun community effort.

The Friends of Mills Canyon is the non-profit, volunteer organization that sponsors this event and other monthly activities in this beautiful preserve. Bi-monthly hikes allow Burlingame adults and children to learn about the flora, fauna, and creek flow characteristics of the ecosystem nestled between Skyline Drive and Mercy High School.
