Natural Gas Venting in Hillsborough

The venting is scheduled for Thursday.

PG&E will be venting natural gas in Hillsborough Thursday, November 15. The venting will take place in the late afternoon and early evening near the Crystal Springs Golf Course.

The procedure is part of efforts aimed at gas transmission line safety enhancements. Gas is vented in order for work to be done on this section of pipe.

Those in the area may smell natural gas at the time of venting. Services will not be disrupted and the released gas in not harmful.
