Holiday Caltrain Cruises Through Peninsula [PHOTOS]

The decked out train started in San Francisco and stopped at four more stations throughout the Peninsula.

Rain couldn’t stop the holiday cheer as the Holiday Caltrain glittering with over 60,000 lights sailed through the Peninsula. It stopped at 4 p.m. at San Francisco, Burlingame, Redwood City, Mountain View and Santa Clara Saturday and will feature a different schedule today:

Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty took photos with families as the Salvation Army brass band and on-board carolers sang festive tunes.

The US Marine Corps Reserves are still collecting donated unwrapped toys for children this holiday season.

Yes, we are well aware of this & can not believe the Burlingame district is proceeding with theRead More plans for this school. The footprint of the school does not allow for safe drop off and pick up. I have seen a couple of different plans for the drop off line & none of them are adequate for the location. The traffic will surely be a nightmare & I hope we are not moved to this school, as there is not proper access for drop off. Also, not sure why the plans keep changing, maybe because they can not come up with a good plan.
