In Harmony with Hope Awards Feature Social Entrepreneurs Who Change Young Lives

Elfenworks presents $25,000 each to founders of innovative programs

in the areas of education, violence prevention, and entrepreneurship programs

(Burlingame, CA), September 12, 2013 — The Elfenworks Foundation, an organization that works for hope in America by fostering creative and technology solutions that advance change, will honor three entrepreneurs who are reshaping communities at the 7th Annual In Harmony with Hope Awards on September 26 at the Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, CA at 6:30 p.m. The Elfenworks Foundation will present $25,000 to social entrepreneurs who are providing inspiration, hope, and solutions for our country’s youth in the areas of education, violence prevention, and entrepreneurship programs. The 2013 In Harmony with Hope honorees are Christa Gannon, JD, Fresh Lifelines for Youth; Gary Slutkin, MD, Cure Violence (formerly CeaseFire Chicago); and Andrew Yang, Venture for America. For the third year, Wells Fargo has contributed $10,000 in support of the program.
